Masala Chaas Reicpe

Ingredients

  • 1 liter Buttermilk
  • 2 no Green Chilies
  • 1 Inch Ginger Peeled and Sliced
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/8 tsp Asafoetida Hing
  • 8-10 no Curry Leaves Chopped
  • 3/4 tbsp Pink Salt

Instructions

  • Rinse coriander, ginger, and green chilies.
  • In a grinder, blend coriander, ginger, green chilies, and roasted cumin powder with a splash of buttermilk until smooth.
  • Pour the paste into the buttermilk and mix well.
  • For the tempering, heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, let them crackle, then add chopped curry leaves and fry briefly.
  • Pour the tempering into the chilled buttermilk and mix.
  • Serve chilled, preferably over ice cubes.
