- 1 liter Buttermilk
- 2 no Green Chilies
- 1 Inch Ginger Peeled and Sliced
- 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/8 tsp Asafoetida Hing
- 8-10 no Curry Leaves Chopped
- 3/4 tbsp Pink Salt
Instructions
- Rinse coriander, ginger, and green chilies.
- In a grinder, blend coriander, ginger, green chilies, and roasted cumin powder with a splash of buttermilk until smooth.
- Pour the paste into the buttermilk and mix well.
- For the tempering, heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, let them crackle, then add chopped curry leaves and fry briefly.
- Pour the tempering into the chilled buttermilk and mix.
- Serve chilled, preferably over ice cubes.
- Enjoy this delicious and healthy Masala Chaas!
